Meet BETI

The Bogyo Environmental Technology Institute (BETI) is NZE’s mission-driven, not-for-profit partner. Registered as a Canadian charity, BETI takes our patented plastination science out of the lab and into the world’s coastal and underserved communities. The institute funds open-access research, trains local operators, and deploys containerised micro-plants that up-cycle plastic waste into climate-resilient building materials. By pairing rigorous materials science with 90 years of humanitarian expertise, BETI turns each sponsored micro-plant into a catalyst for jobs, cleaner coastlines, and low-carbon infrastructure—proving that circular innovation can start at the community level and scale globally.
